Description

Small watermelons on delicate looking plants that turn yellow when ripe. The black coloured seeds can easily be removed from the tasty pink melon. A single plant tends to yield several mature watermelons during the shorter Southern – Central Manitoba growing season. Do not pick immature fruit. Sow . inch (1 cm) deep indoors in mid-sized pots about month prior to planting outdoors after last frost. Transplant about 2 feet apart (60 cm) in rows 5 feet apart (1.5 m).
