Radish (Raphanus sativus)

The peppery flavoured leaves make a nice addition to salads while the radish bottoms make a nice side accompaniment to sandwiches and BBQ kabob. Direct sow about . inch or . cm deep with rows about 1 . foot or 38 cm apart. Thin to 1-2 inches or 2-4 cm. Reasonably rabbit resistant.
