A mix of the tall blue pod capucijners, dwarf grey sugars, and the productive homesteader (or Lincoln) peas, these are productive, tasty, often easy to see and excellent for freezing for winter use. Direct sow 1-2 inches (2-5 cm) deep and apart to avoid thinning the peas. A 3-4 foot (1 m) trellis or fence for peas to climb up. If soil is dry, pre-soak the peas.
