Description

These sturdy plants have stunning flowers and don’t tend to be knocked over by thunder storm winds. Okra’s may be harvested as 2 inch (4 cm) ‘baby’s and eaten whole in dishes or allowed to become longer and chopped to reveal what looks like spoked wheels. May start indoors before first frost or pre-soak seed prior to planting. Sow seeds . inch (1 cm) deep and thin to 1-1 . feet (30-45 cm) in rows 2-3 feet (60-90 cm) apart. Grow to a height of about 4 feet (1.2 m) depending on conditions. Reasonably rabbit resistant.
