This ancient multipurpose plant may be eaten fresh as a green, dried for use in stews and the seeds may be used whole as spice or ground as flour. Direct sow after last frost . inch (0.5 cm) and thin to about 2 inches (5 cm) if desiring full grown plants for seed. Note: may not be suitable for those with peanut and/or chickpea allergies.
